I’m 7 months pregnant, and sometimes I have acid reflux which is normal I know, I was wondering can I take Tums to help calm it before I go to bed tonight. Is that safe?

    • tums were my best friends while i was pregnant…carried them with me everywhere

    • I took rolaids all three of my pregnancies. Drinking a glass of milk helps too

I take rolaids because they taste better to me, Im 37 wks and i have a pack by my bed, in my car, and in my purse LOL no kidding! My doctor said its fine. Also drinking warm milk actually works for me sometimes believe it or not.. some people it does some it doesnt..

    • I’m glad that you are so concerned about your baby. my doctor told me that Tums (equate sells the same thing for vheaper at walmart :) are perfectly safe, just do not take more than the reconmended dose. He said in my case they would be helpful because i am not a big milk fan. Prop your pillow up a little that seemed to help me. Good luck, i hope you find relief, i remember it all to well.

    • I took Zantac 150 everyday during my pregnancy. If I went two days in a row without taking it, I would get so nauseous and couldn’t eat anything til I took one. It really saved me. My doc said it was safe to take, ask yours if it’s okay.
