Yes it can. It can also cause you to have a bad cough and a sore throat. Sometimes tight pants can cause acid reflux.

They can be confused, but if you’ve had both (I have) you should be able to tell the difference.

Yes husband and brother have been through it…its not a heart attack unless you feel like an elephant is standing on you

My brother was rushed to the hospital 3 years ago because they thought he was having a heart attack. after all the test came back it was diagnosed as a severe case of acid reflux. His esophagus was so irritated and inflamed that it was pushing hard on the heart muscles.

Yes, it can. It’s called heartburn and it does NOT feel good at all. I listed a website that might help give you some more answers.

Yes it does, which is why people having a heart attack sometimes delay treatment, telling themselves “it’s only acid reflux”. If it really is reflux, it will quickly respond to an antacid. If it doesn’t respond, or continues to get worse, you should seek medical attention immediately.
