I hear baking soda and warm water helps, but I found this website that states 2 foods will cure acid reflux but you must pay to download the information. Does anybody know this secret? My wife has spats of uncontrolable belching and bloating and O.T.C medications dont work. Someone please help!!

My son has just been diagnosed with acid reflux and has been put on prevacid. Has anyone else’s baby been on this medication? How long did it take to work? Were there any side effects?

If I were to eat Asian Noodles while I have Acid Reflux, would that have a negative effect for me? Noodles such as: http://www.foodsubs.com/NoodlesWheat.html

I’m not sure whether to eat them or not, because they’re pretty much the only edible thing in my kitchen right now that I can eat, and these AREN’T instant noodles or anything instant.

My 4 week old is on a acid reducer and it seems to make her spit up even more then she was before she started taking it. Its called AXID. Has anyone else had children on this and it cause the same problem? Should I have her changed to a different reflux medicine and does anyone have any suggestions of what kinds work really well? I’ve had pain on and off on the left side of my chest, and my neck. I do feel a bit nauseous, and have since yesterday, but I feel like its anxiety causing the nausea. Also it feels on and off warm in my stomach and rarely a bit warm in my throat…mainly my tummy. My chest isn’t burning though…its like a dull sharp pain. I’m going to doctor tomorrow, but I’m readying myself for the possibilities.

Lately I have had a strange sensation in my oesophagus,on my upper chest. It feels like a burning, well not a burning exactly just a funny feeling that hurts a little bit. It was worst yesterday and once when I burped a bit of barf came into my mouth! I get heartburn once in awhile but that’s usually in my abdomen. Is this acid reflux? Or something else?

My four year old suffers from a horrible case of Acid Reflux which actually causes him to develop pneumonia, as he is aspirating fluids into his lungs. Can anybody recommend an alternative remedy (herbal preferably) to the Zantac that his pediatrician has prescribed?
