I have acid reflux disease. Would tomato sauce give me an acid reflux episode?

Does your baby have acid reflux?
Posted on September 13th, 2009 7 commentsDoes your little one have AR? What meds did your MD give them? What are some ways to comfort her? I have completely changed my diet as directed, but she still gets upset. Sometimes if I lay her flat in the pack n play she cries and cries until I sit her in a recline position. Is this reflux pain? Does your baby have a lot of drool too?
She has been diagnosed and does take Zantac twice a day. I was just curious how other AR babies were doing. -

Acid reflux or just spit up? Happening even after an hour or 2 after feeding?
Posted on July 28th, 2009 2 commentsI know some spit up after feeding and during burping is normal. Right now my baby is 3 months and I feed her breast milk and supplement with soy formula. Sometimes she spits up right after eating, but most time, she spits up a lot (I always have to change my clothes and hers too) an hour or two after she’s done eating. And its few times before she’s done spitting up. Is this acid reflux or is it normal? -
Sore Throat / Throat Ulcer: Hurts more when I wake up, could it be acid reflux?
Posted on July 18th, 2009 3 commentsI’ve had a sore throat for over a week now, and the pain was just getting worse. I went to an ENT and it turns out I have a big throat ulcer. For some reason, it hurts a lot more when I first wake up every morning. Could this be because of acid reflux or something? Is acid getting into my throat while I sleep? And maybe that’s what’s causing the ulcer to stick around for so long? If so, what can I do to help this? I just want this throat ulcer to go away so I can go on with my life. Would it help if I just took a Zantac before I went to bed each night? Any other suggestions on what this could be or ways to treat acid reflux if that’s what it is? -
I have acid reflux. What can I eat and drink?
Posted on July 15th, 2009 3 commentsI don’t like spicy foods, so that’s no problem. I drink a lot of Diet soft drinks, though. -
what has your pediatrician done for your baby’s acid reflux?
Posted on July 9th, 2009 5 commentswe have tried various formulas and our 3 month old spits up ALOT with all of them.
it’s so bad that other moms have commented on it and i think his daycare teachers are starting to get sick of changing his clothes and washing his hair.
he will spit up whether it’s 5 min after eating or 2 hours. and it’s usually a lot. it just comes pouring out. doesn’t matter if he’s flat on the floor or you’re holding him or he’s elevated on the boppy pillow!
he is growing like crazy, but i worry about it harming his guts and esophagus.i asked the dr about it and he said that he was at the peak for acid reflux and to let it run it’s course and it will taper off. that was a month ago and it still hasn’t subsided.
so, was there anything your dr may have recommended to you for your kid’s spitting up??
anything that i may mention to my dr??thanks!!!

Any safe home remedies for solution of acid reflux for a 2 week old baby ?
Posted on July 5th, 2009 8 commentsMy 2 week old baby is suffering from silent acid reflux. He is not able to settle at night at all as he keeps getting up every 10 mins and choking. He also cries a lot due to trapped wind I think as he keeps bunching his legs into his tummy. Anyone with any home remedies which can help ? I have been told that gripe water cannot be given before 4 weeks and other remedies-infacol, colief, gaviscon etc have too many side effects.
